get the year started off right

Welcome to 2016 Fantasy Football… take off your shoes and stay awhile. Who will be wearing their championship dancing shoes come January? Hopefully you. You’ve probably had your draft, feel like you’re going 14-0 and then on to win the championship. Every team does this time of year.

Last year you may have been able to draft no one, play the waiver wire right, and win it all. Last year was not the exception, but the rule. Playing the waiver wire will be a huge part in winning your league. Whether you use FAAB or the waiver wire… play it, pay attention to it and find this year's David Johnson.

Here you will find weekly rankings, players who have good and bad matchups, players to try and pick up, and sometimes, guys you’ve just gotta let go. That way you’re not stuck with CJ Anderson because you were afraid to drop a first rounder for David Johnson.

There are a lot of different strategies to playing Fantasy Football. Apparently this is the year of draft #NORB. Meaning that running backs are so interchangeable, often hurt and generally unreliable that you can just wait til after the 6th round to pick up running backs. I drafted Lesean McCoy and Le’veon Bell early in a few of my drafts. I didn’t roll the NORB way this year. This year most of my drafts started taking DST in the 9-10th round (WHAAATT???)... so I decided to stream DST each week and write about it here. I would rather pick a defense late and have a possible DeAndre Hopkins on the bench then have the Broncos #1 DST and miss out.

Week 1 I am all about streaming the Eagles defense. If you can get them on your team for week 1, do it. They probably didn’t get drafted in your league, they weren’t any of mine. The Eagles will have some struggles on offense in this game… but does anyone really trust RG3 and the Browns offense to score a ton? I’m looking for at least two turnovers and hopefully a DST TD out of the Eagles this week.

And onto the week 1 rankings…
