2-0 is better than 1-1

Week 1 has come and gone and we have already lost a super star. Keenan Allen is done for the year… OUCH!  We had some studs, duds, surprises and some great football games. I enjoyed Week 1 and I hope you did as well.

Last week's studs n duds

Studs:(can’t include everyone, but these people more than doubled their projected scores)

Drew Brees

Spencer Ware

A.J. Green

C.J, Anderson

Willie Snead

Theo Riddick

Larry Fitzgerald

Carlos Hyde

Andrew Luck

Brandin Cooks

Amari Cooper

Duds (seriously… less than 2 points for AP and Dez???)

Adrian Peterson

Brandon Marshall

Todd Gurley

Tyrod Taylor

Russell Wilson

Devonta Freeman

Sammy Watkins

Dez Bryant

Last week I wrote about the new #NORB craze that swept the fantasy nation this year. Week 1 proved worthy. Some of the top guys completely bottomed out while some late rounders and even undrafted guys shined.

This year, I’ve decided to stream a defense each week and write about it. Last week I went with the Eagles. They ended up as the 3rd highest scoring DST on ESPN. Pretty good for a DST that didn’t even get drafted.

This week in most of my leagues the Jets, Bills and Ravens are all available. I am going to go with the Ravens. The Jets and Bills both seem enticing as Thursday night games generally have lower scores and Watkins is nursing an injury, but I just feel it’s the week of the Ravens. Baltimore will travel to Cleveland this week. The Browns just put their starting QB on IR and have a bevy of offensive issues. Will they even be able to move the ball this week? Corey Coleman is the only pass catcher they have. Gary Barnidge was completely shut out last week. Some say that McCown will be an upgrade over RG3… well if that’s the case, why wasn’t he the Week 1 starter? I think Baltimore dominates this game, causes a few turnovers and I’m hoping for a DST TD!
