I want to learn Falconry

Week 3 has come and gone with some major surprises. Trevor Siemian was the week’s top QB, Marvin Jones the top WR and the top 2 RB’s both came from Atlanta. Week 3 was full of flops as well, Julio Jones, Carson Palmer, and C.J. Anderson just to name a few. Whoever picked some of these low ball studs (me!) on Draft Kings won some serious $$$.

Injuries have still depleted many fantasy teams and many fantasy teams now need  to pay closer attention to the waiver wire. Jordan Howard, Terrell Pryor and Jamison Crowder all had great weeks and were available on the wire last week.

One strategy I’ve always tried to employ is the “next week bye factor”. Your guy is on a bye this week, but what does next week look like? Who am I starting Sunday and who am I sitting? Who can I pick up Sunday morning in Week 4 that I am going to want in Week 5 that I can drop in week 4 on Sunday morning and not have to worry about the waiver wire. Now that bye weeks have begun, it’s time to start thinking beyond just this week. Week’s 9 and 11 are bye week hell for just about everyone. See who has good matchups those weeks and stash them now. Are you really going to play Kenyan Drake this week? Or is he droppable for Sam Bradford who has an excellent QB Matchup Week 9? Decisions, decisions…

I wish I would have kept the Vikings from Week 1 on, but I didn’t. I am streaming a different DST each week. Last week Miami looked great on paper. Miami ended up tied for 17th, but only 4 points from being a top-10 DST. This is why I like to stream defenses. Week in and week out, you can easily find a top 10 DST. I'm gonna get crazy and stream the Colts DST this week. I know they have a terrible secondary.... but this game is played over in London and Gus Bradley is getting fired before the plane ride home. Something about this matchup just screams to me play the Colts DST. Other options would be the Bills against the Patriots or the Jets playing Seattle.

Onto the week 4 PPR Rankings….
