You won't like Tom when he's angry

Angry Tom is back...back again.....

We are roughly one third of the way through your fantasy regular season. It is time to dump the duds and ride the weekly studs! Some players that were drafted early have high expectations each week and just aren’t cutting it, while lesser known players like Quincy Enunwa and Tevin Coleman are on your bench. It’s time to play with your head and not your heart.

It doesn’t matter where you drafted someone, it matters how they are producing now. C.J. Anderson and Eddie Lacy aren’t playing like second round picks, but they’re playing good enough to be starters. Tevin Coleman and Jordan Howard probably were drafted very late, or not at all, and are weekly starters in most leagues. Especially PPR.

Just like the stock market, it’s buy low, sell high. Coleman’s stock will never be higher than it is right now. Eddie Lacy’s stock is very low right now, and you may be able to steal him from his frustrated owner for next to nothing.

It’s time to cut the dead weight, realize the identity of your team, and try and make the playoffs. Anything can happen once you’re in the playoffs. Make sure to check your league rules to see how many teams make it, if there are byes… basically the playoff rules. I’m in four leagues that I care about and each has a different playoff structure.

Each week I am streaming a DST. For the most part, it has worked out for me so far. I had the Vikings in Week 2 and wish I had kept them, but things happen. I would rather have dropped the Vikings and kept Tevin Coleman and streamed a DST each week than take the extra few points the Vikings would get me each week and miss out on Coleman's value.

This week I am going to stream the Titans DST. I know, crazy right? They are going up against a Cody Kessler led offense that ranks 26th in scoring. Cleveland is one big hit away from Kevin Hogan or possibly Terrelle Pryor playing QB. Tennessee should be able to win the clock management game and keep Cleveland’s offense off the field with their stout run game. Tennessee’s DST has a chance to score big this week in the turnover margin. The Titans rank 11th in points against, they should be able to keep Cleveland in check.
