Super Bowl bets revealed!

The Las Vegas Westgate Superbook has come out with their top 5 best bets to not only make it to the Super Bowl, but to win the whole thing. As we know, there were years where certain teams looked ready to take the next step but when the season plays itself out...those teams either fall off a cliff or get bounced out of the 1st round

1. Oakland Raiders - As long as nothing happens to Derek Carr unlike last year, I don't see why not. He's the franchise QB, he just got paid & most of their offense is back from last year. Latavius Murray out (He's with Minnesota) Marshawn Lynch in...who just came off a 1-year retirement stint to play for his hometown team. No one I know trusts their defense who was ranked 26th in yards allowed per game (375.1). They have good players on defense...Pass rush specialists in Khalil Mack, Bruce Irvin, ballhawk safety Reggie Nelson & their 1st round pick Gareon Conley out of THE Ohio State University. Can the defense play well enough for Oakland to take that next step? We'll see.

2. Green Bay Packers - We know what Aaron Rodgers is capable of even at age 33 but as we seen last year, that's not nearly enough to make it to the Super Bowl. Ty Montgomery playing his 1st season as the full-time RB after splitting time at WR & RB last year. Jordy Nelson leads Green Bay's WR's who once you're around Aaron Rodgers, you'll have no choice but to step up your level of play. But once again like Oakland, Green Bay's defense at times looked God awful. Injuries were to blame especially in the secondary which is why guys like Kirk Cousins, Matt Ryan, Dak Prescott, Marcus Mariota & others had field days against Green Bay's back line. In order for Green Bay to make to the Super Bowl for the 1st time since 2010, their secondary has to get better in 2017.

3. Dallas Cowboys - Dak Prescott blew everyone away during his rookie year as a 4th round draft pick. Now he's going into year 2 with a couple different things. Expectations....cause he had none last year & his RB Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended for the 1st 6 games this season, which puts more responsiblity on Dak. He'll also have to rely more on guys like Dez Bryant, the best O-Line in the NFL, Terrence Williams & the ageless wonder Jason Witten. But the Dallas defense also have their issues too, they lost a few guys from last year's team & they've been the weakness to the Cowboys for some time now. Can Dak & Dallas' defense hold it down until Zeke gets back from his suspension?

4. New York Giants - I still like Eli no matter how erratic he can be, he just needs an inkling of a running game. Hopefully Paul Perkins can be that guy at RB. We know what Odell Beckham Jr can do but the last time we saw him on the field, he played his worst game as a pro dropping 3 passes in Green Bay in the Wild Card game. Victor Cruz out, Brandon Marshall in....Brandon has a golden opportunity. He's never been in the playoffs in his 11-year NFL career, he has to play this year like it's his last because who knows how long he can do this, Brandon will be 34 in March. They also drafted TE Evan Engram who I loved in college at Ole Miss & will be a matchup nightmare for just about anyone they play against.  Unlike the 3 teams I talked about, the Giants have a solid defense that at times single-handedly won games when the offense struggled. Their D-Line against the run is one of the best, Jason Pierre-Paul & Oliver Vernon rushing the passer and Janoris Jenkins and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie shutting down opposing WR's. Can they dethrone Dallas, win the NFC East & make a deep playoff run?

5. Pittsburgh Steelers - Big Ben Roethlisberger is all in on 2017 after thinking about retirement after last year's AFC Championship game loss vs. the Patriots. Le'Veon Bell currently holding out for a new deal even tho that deadline been expired, he'll accept that $12.1M franchise tag sooner or later. He's a top 2-3 RB in the NFL regardless. We know about Antonio Brown but now he has Martavis Bryant back coming off a 1-year suspension for marijuana. Their defense is a'ight but not good enough to where they need to be. Can this Steelers team represent the AFC in Super Bowl 52, in what could be Big Ben's last ride?

But wait we forgot something....the 2 teams in last year's Super Bowl aren't loved by Vegas this year. The New England Patriots & Atlanta Falcons. The defending Super Bowl champs have Tom Brady back at 40 years old, Julian Edelman still there, Gronk back fully healthy off back surgery & traded for Brandin Cooks from New Orleans. As long as #12 is playing well for New England, they're always primed for a Super Bowl run.

Also the defending NFC Champs Atlanta Falcons. They have a lot of work to do after pulling off the biggest Super Bowl collapse ever blowing a 28-3 lead with 2:10 left in the 3rd quarter & it starts with reigning NFL MVP Matt Ryan. They re-uped on Devonta Freeman & Julio Jones when healthy is the best WR in football in my opinion. Their defense was super young last year & held their own for the most part, there's just 1 question going into this season for the Falcons. How do you rebound after such an epic meltdown in the biggest game of them all?

Do you agree with Las Vegas' best bets to win the Super Bowl?
