There are eight players who have scored more than the Patriots DST. It is ridiculous that a Defense will win the championship, or at the very least help a team to the playoffs.
With week 9 coming up… here are the top 5 at each position through 8 weeks according to ESPN PPR:
QB Leaders
Watson, Wilson, Jackson, Murray, Rodgers
RB Leaders:
RUN CMC, Cook, Aaron jones, Ekeler, Fournette
WR Leaders:
Thomas, Kupp, Godwin, Julio Jones, Chark jr.
TE: Hooper, Kelce, Waller, Kittle, Engram
DST:
Patriots, 49ers, Steelers, Saints, Panthers. There is nearly 100 points between the Pats and Steelers. INCREDIBLE!
October has been a whirlwind for me. I’ve taken 2 vacations. Went to see the Irish win in South Bend and lose at the Big House. All my friends are in Denver for the Browns game (I’m from Ohio) and I’m stuck back at home with a 6 month old with an ear infection.
I do this for fun. I do this as a second job. I am not on TV, paid $100k a year like some of these guys. This is not my career. I still put in as much work as they do. I do the research. I see the matchups. I look at the trends and the weather. I try and have you put the best team on paper on your squad as you can. We all know they still play the game. Matthew Berry went on a 2 minute rant about Cardinals use of David Johnson a few weeks back. Do you think anyone in the NFL cares about your fantasy team? They care about themselves scoring and racking up yards, and if that makes you happy then good. I know this game is fun for me. Doing this research is fun for me. I watch games that I would never watch because I have a fantasy guy playing. I think fantasy football is good for the sport. Just remember, you hit submit on your team. I get people cussing me out, being A-holes on twitter because I said start a guy and he did poorly. This is my opinion based on my research and backed up by IBN. We do the work, you read the stuff, you hit submit. Hit me up with anger and find the block button fast. Hit me up with questions or hey man missed that but get em next time..cool with criticism… not cool with hate.
